Split Screen Imaging

This album cover shows a quadruple split screen image of 4 different historical figues; Bob Dylan, Malcolm X, Fidel Castro and John F. Kennedy.

I like this type of imagery as it shows a variety of different subjects in one image; this saves room and allows there to be much more content that a regular photograph.

This would also appeal to the target market. for example the picture on the left shows iconic figures of the 60s therefore it would appeal to the older audience as well as young people who are interested in 1960 history.

Luke, think alsoi how this might appeal to an audience. These are all iconic figures from the 1960's (and the style of the cover is very much of its time) and the fact it is a 'college' issue gives a clue as to who it is aimed at.

Luke, start posting songs and images of your favourite artists so the examiner can see what genre of music magazine you will be making.

Currently with the strong artist slant and retro feel to your post I would guess a folk rock inspired magazine which would have a passionate but niche audience.

If I'm wrong you need top start posting ideas which show that I am wrong.

A good start though Luke
